Shatner makes everything better.

Hey again. It’s a brand new year, and a brand new DR page! Hope you enjoy Brian’s take on the stylings of Sir William Shatner. I know I do.
I’m stoked that DarkRaven has made it to the fabled “Year we make contact”. 2010. Wow. We’ve been doing this little comic since in one form or another since early 2007, and I’m still loving it. And while there’s not a huge number of pages completed in those three years (87 is still a respectable number), each and every one of them has been crafted with love by Brian and I.
So here’s to the next three years (or more!) and hopefully many, many more pages of DarkRaven and Blue Tit fun!
BTW, I wanted to share with you a Christmas gift I received. My friend John Ragone is builds model cars as a hobby, and he created the ultimate DarkRaven-inspired vehicle.

It started with me receiving a nicely wrapped gift box addressed to DarkRaven." title="It started with me receiving a nicely wrapped gift box addressed to DarkRaven.

Here's a close-up of the Silver Scarab. Brian called it anti-climatic in the comic, but the craftsmanship of this model is suberb!

And here's the first shot of the Blackbird. It's a combination Batmobile/Ecto-1/VW crime-fightin' machine.

This guy put in untold hours constructing this most special of gifts, and I thank him deeply for it. John, you rock! Now only if I had the money to get a full-size Blackbird…
See ya next time.

I’ll let your readers know the pics do not do the cars or the packaging any justice it is a awesome gift and i looks like something you can buy of the shelf in a comic book store. Being Johns bro i have seen the countless hours in these cars. Great work and it is a great gift. Poo Shooter activate – hey sounded comic bookish

I was there way back when this model car building master got goin back in the K days. Yes that is before 1st grade. What a work of art. Congrats to both of you, the artist and the new owner. I will always look for the Poo Shooter on every Bug I am driving behind on the road. The autographed display case tops it all off.
